Zaev: I’m open to dialogue, it hasn’t occurred me to influence institutions and courts

I’ve always been open to discuss and find solutions through a conversation. There are too many divisions in Macedonia and we all know that we should forgive each other. It had never occurred to me to influence institutions or courts, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said today from the parliamentary rostrum.

Responding to the VMRO-DPMNE MP Krsto Jovanovski, who proposed that the leaders of the two largest Macedonian parties sit at the table and make a decision on the future of the country, Zaev clarified that the name of the state is not changing, only an geographical qualifier is added.
– Citizens give their legitimacy in parliamentary elections to MPs to make decisions in their name. As for the name issue and the agreement with Greece, we decided to return the legitimacy and ask our people. Citizens who decided, went out and voted in the referendum, and those who did not want to decide stayed home. Macedonia needs to make a further decision, Zaev said.
