Spasovski: I urge citizens to report any illegal behavior

The Ministry of Interior has urged citizens, political parties and their supporters to follow laws and regulations and not undermine public order and safety nor disrupt voting privacy (e.g., by taking pictures or video).

“The Ministry of Interior will not tolerate any illegal behavior,” the press release reads, “and the law will be enforced immediately. All necessary steps will be taken for citizens to exercise their constitutional right to vote peacefully and without interruptions on Sept. 30.”

The Ministry has also created a special operative headquarters authorized to carry out activities and take measures ensuring that citizens freely exercise their right to vote in the referendum.
