President Gjorge Ivanov has accepted the invitation of Prime Minister Zoran Zaev to attend a leaders’ meeting, slated for tomorrow.
“Taking into consideration the importance of the name issue and the state interests of the Republic of Macedonia, President Gjorge Ivanov accepts the invitation to an informative meeting, initiated by Prime Minister Zoran Zaev, scheduled on 19 May 2018,” Ivanov’s cabinet says Friday.
We, states the statement, still haven’t received full answers to the requests sent on 29 March 2018, including the draft-text of the bilateral agreement on settling differences over the name, forwarded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece.
“Thus, we believe that the Macedonian President is the recipient of selective information. Ivanov at tomorrow’s meeting is expected to be informed about the essence of and details from talks aimed at settling name differences,” adds the statement.
