Parliament dismisses two ministers without portfolio

Macedonia’s Parliament on Wednesday, after the government submitted a motion, dismissed Aksel Ahmedovski from the post of minister without portfolio in charge of implementing the Roma Strategy in Macedonia, and Adnan Kjahil from the mist of minister without portfolio responsible for attracting foreign investments.

Elaborating the motion, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said that the dismissal was of purely political reasons that came as a result of a decision of the two junior government coalition partners.

“I’m satisfied with the performance of the ministers and I believe we will be able to find a way to continue to cooperate in the future,” he said adding that he would nominate two candidates for the posts.
