Ninja surrendered and is transferred to Sutka

One of the suspects in the “Bloody Thursday” case, Aleksandar Vasilevski – Ninja, surrendered himself yesterday to the Criminal Court before a judge in a previous procedure, and was immediately transferred to the Sutka Investigation Prison.

Ninja was at large for seven months, although he was detained for participating in the attack on MPs and journalists on April 27th of last year. Police also looked for him, but, before the court he said that he was coming from his home in Gazi Baba.

According to the indictment filed by the prosecution, Ninja’s brother, who was a security guard for former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, contacted Vasilevski from Vienna, and then, along with the accused Nikola Mitrevski Kolio, contacted the defendants Jane Cento, Igor Jug, Mladen Dodevski, Zaharie Simovski , Mihail Mladenovski and Dejan Davidovski Deso. They mobilized the membership from Skopje and other cities for a violent incursion into the Parliament, knowing in advance that the building of the Parliament was not adequately secured and protected by police forces.

The charges for the events in the Assembly were filed on March 27, and will be assessed on June 21 next week. Apart from Ninja, Nikola Mitrevski Kolio surrendered himself to the Court some time ago. After their surrender, Dejan Davidovski – Deso is the only one still at large.
