Hahn to arrive in Skopje tomorrow
EU Enlargement Commissioner, Johannes Hahn will arrive to Skopje tomorrow. This visit will also mark the start of the screening process, which is expected to accompany the beginning of EU accession talks.
According to the agenda, tomorrow morning, Hahn will hold a meeting with PM Zoran Zaev, after which he will meet with parliamentary speaker, Talat Xhaferi and leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Hristijan Mickoski.
The EU official is also expected to address a speech in front of the members of the parliamentary committee for European integration.
On the other hand, the screening process aims at scanning the legislation of a candidate country and assesses the extent to which this country’s legislation has converged with the EU legislation.
