Ex-Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski to testify about April 27


 At Tuesday’s hearing in Skopje’s Criminal Court, four witnesses, among whom former Parliament Speaker Trajko Veljanoski, will testify about the events of April 27, 2017.

Judge Dobrila Kacarska said more witnesses would be heard Thursday as well, whereas the Prosecutor is expected to submit additional evidence on Friday. Closing statements are to begin next week, Judge Kacarska said.

33 persons are indicted in the April 27 Parliament storming case, 31 of whom are charged with terrorist endangerment of the constitutional order and security and two others are charged with aiding and abetting.

Defendants in this case are Ljuben Arnaudov, Saso Vasilevski, Krsto Mukoski, Ljupco Dimovski, Johan Tarculovski, Mitko Cavkov, Mitko Pesovski, Dusko Lazarov, Goran Josevski-Levi, Oliver Popovski, Oliver Radulov, Munir Pepic, Abdulfaeta Alimi, Elena Docevska-Bozhinovska, Ivan Cvetanovski, Boris Damovski, Bogdan Ilievski-Betmen, Vlado Jovanovski, Igor Durlovski, Stefan Mladenovski, Mihail Mladenovski, Zaharie Simovski, Mladen Dodevski, Jane Cento, Gorance Angelovski, Igor Jug, Ilija Slaveski, Vlatko Trajkov, Vilijam Mihajlovski, Nikola Mitrevski- Kolio , Aleksandar Vasilevski-Ninja and Mitre Pirpovski.
