Criminal charges against former Skopje Mayor Trajanovski

The Sector for Internal Affairs Skopje filed criminal charges against former Skopje Mayor Koce Trajanovski and three other officials from the city administration for abuse of office and authority during the election of the Director of PE Water Supply and Sewerage-Skopje in 2014.

– The Chairman and the members of the Commission have not checked the completeness and validity of the submitted documentation from the candidates for the announced public competition for selection of the director of the PE Water Supply and Sewage-Skopje. Of the 11 candidates that were nominated for director, A.A. was elected, who had some incomplete documents, ie his Bachelor’s degree earned in the State of New York in the United States was not vindicated. They made this decision to Koce Trajanovski, who also failed to check and decided to elect A.A.. as the director of PE Water Supply and Sewage-Skopje.

-After conducting the inspection in the public enterprise, Trajanovski was asked to reconsider the decision to select a director of the company and to make a decision in accordance with his competencies, but he did not undertake any actions, thus enabling the person A.A. to continue serving as the company’s director, reads the press release of the Ministry of Interior.
