Government reshuffle – Zaev sends a list of names of ministers to Parliament

North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev today is expected to forward to Parliament the list of names of ministers who will be part of the reshuffled government. The motion should be adopted by MPs at a session due to take place this week.

Directors and members of steering and supervisory boards in the public enterprises will be dismissed in the midst of the shuffle process in the second and third echelon, echoing the government reshuffle, Zaev has said.

The government reshuffle motion should have been sent this past Friday. The move was postponed for Sunday, because North Macedonia this weekend hosted the IMF/WB Constituency meeting, which brought together 15 finance ministers, national bank governors, and top IMF and WB officials.

As regards SDSM’s intra-party changes, PM Zaev, also the leader of the ruling party, said vice-presidents and 20 presidents of municipal organizations should be appointed by the end of June.
