Defense Minister Radmila Sekerinska is paying an official visit to Turkey, upon an invitation of counterpart Nurettin Canikli.
During the visit, Minister Sekerinska will also meet with Prime Minister Binali Yildirim and Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, the Defense Ministry said in a press release.
Discussions will focus on current developments in Macedonia, prior and future bilateral cooperation, as well as situation in the region and beyond.
Interlocutors will also tackle joint peacekeeping operations, expectations from the coming NATO summit in Brussels and Turkey’s support to Macedonia’s Alliance accession.
In addition, Sekerinska will meet representatives of the Turkish Undersecretariat for Defense Industries and visit several military capacities, reads the press release.
