Zaev: Progress in creativity towards name solution

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev said Saturday progress has been made in the talks regarding a solution to the name dispute.

“Progress has been made regarding the creativity of solutions, of course maintaining the dignity and identity. These ideas are put on the table and we are considering them,” PM Zaev told reporters at the sidelines of an environmental campaign in Dojran.

According to him, another meeting would be held by the end of next week.

“I am convinced that the creativity and commitment of both parties can lead to the settlement of a problem that is crucial for Macedonia, opening the doors to NATO and EU, but also taking into consideration that we should not be dishonored and humiliated, which is also valid for the Greek side. I am convinced that both sides have a sincere, real intention to solve the problem, having in mind that we have come this far,” added Zaev.
