Zaev: I expect consensus on the SPO law
North Macedonia’s Prime Minister Zoran Zaev expects the Law on the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) to be endorsed by consensus.
PM Zaev said Tuesday the law is entering parliamentary procedure and discussions will take place with opposition VMRO-DPMNE, followed by the independent VMRO-DPMNE MP group and smaller opposition parties of ethnic Albanians.
“I expect consensus on the law. Expectations are different but it is right that we should all give our support,” Zaev told reporters.
