Zaev handed over the agreement to Mickoski, the meeting lasted 5 minutes

VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski had a brief meeting with the Prime Minister Zoran Zaev yesterday afternoon in the government, who handed over the agreement on the name dispute settlement. After the meeting, Mickoski said that he and Zaev had a brief meeting because, as he said, the whole topic was exhausted yesterday, and he had nothing to add more than what he said at the last two press conferences.

The leader of VMRO-DPMNE said that the agreement will be analyzed in all party commissions and bodies and that in the days to follow – they will call consultations with the MOC, the Islamic Religious Community, MANU and other social groups in the Republic of Macedonia.

Someone has led us to such an unfortunate situation. He privatized and monopolized the entire process. Now we are put before a final act to comment on capitulation, but, as we said at today’s press conference, we will use all the democratic and legal means available to us to defy it,” said Mickoski.
The leader of the opposition VMRO-DPMNE yesterday also had an hour-long meeting with President Gjorge Ivanov (as opposed to the two-minute head of state with the prime minister and the foreign minister), reiterating his party’s positions and positions. Mickoski did not indicate details of the conversation with the head of state.

Regarding whether there is an opportunity to change his stance on the agreement between Zaev and Tsipras on the name dispute, Miskoski said that, based on the details he learned these days, his personal position and the position of the party are getting even stronger.
