SPO requests home arrest for Kamcev, Pandelevski, Janakieski and Bozinovski, no motion for Mijalkov

The Special Prosecutor’s Office has requested that detention is replaced by home arrest for several defendants in the Empire case, the SPO has told MIA.

The SPO has requested that Jordan Kamcev, Cvetan Pandeleski and several others are placed under house arrest, while there is no such motion for former UBK chief Saso Mijalkov.

The SPO recently launched the Empire investigation against 13 individuals, who are suspected of criminal association, damage or privilege of creditors, abuse of office, fraud and money laundering.

Additionally, the SPO has requested house arrest for former minister of transport and communications Mile Janakieski and former government secretary-general Kiril Bozinovski, who are indicted in other SPO cases.
