Prosecutor Joveski: Albania has no video recordings of Gruevski’s escape
State Prosecutor Ljubomir Joveski said Tuesday they have not received the video recordings from Albania related to the escape of former prime minister Nikola Gruevski. Regarding the international legal assistance that was requested from the Albanian judicial authorities, it has not been provided and we do not have the recordings, said Joveski.
He said there are several aspects covered in the elaboration provided by the Albanian judicial authorities. “One is that data from security cameras cannot be stored for a long time due to their capacity,” added Jovevski.
When asked if those recordings were deleted, Joveski briefly said “these are automatic devices.”
