President Ivanov congratulates Catholic Christmas

President Gjorge Ivanov sent Christmas greetings Monday to all Catholic believers in Macedonia, wishing them good health, joyful and happy holiday season.

Celebrating Christmas, we remind of one of the most significant moments in history – the day when the Son of God, because of his love for mankind, embodied and became a man. Christ has enabled us to equate ourselves with His commandments – to love God and to unite with close ones, to forgive and to be forgiven, to be merciful.

Congratulating the Christ’s Birth – Christmas, I wish peace and tranquility to fill the hearts of all believers, and to bring personal and family happiness, faith and creative energy to contribute for overall progress of our country, the President’s note reads.
