GROM leader Jakimovski detained on charges of embezzlement
The leader of GROM party, Stevce Jakimovski has been arrested today in Skopje after being accused of abuse with funds during the time he served as mayor of Karposh in Skopje.
Meanwhile, Jakimovski has also been arrested last year on suspicion of embezzlement during the time he was head of this borough. Jakimovski’s party, which has two seats in parliament, has reacted by saying that the ruling party is prosecuting political opponents.
GROM party is an ally of VMRO-DPMNE party, which is also the main opposition party in North Macedonia.
