Zidan: Slovenia will be the second country to sign Macedonia’s NATO Accession Protocol
Slovenian Parliament Speaker Dejan Zidan congratulated Monday to his visiting colleague from Macedonia, Talat Xhaferi, on the adoption of constitutional amendments and Greece’s ratification of the NATO Accession Protocol.
Macedonia is a positive example that with a political will even the most complex disputes may be peacefully resolved, Zidan said.
Slovenia is a strong supporter of Macedonia’s road to joining NATO and the European Union, being proud to be the second country that will sign the NATO Accession Protocol, Zidan said.
Slovenia, he said, is also ready to share its experience with the EU accession negotiations.
Xhaferi extended gratitude for Slovenia’s regular support of Macedonia’s bid to join the Euro-Atlantic organizations. He briefed Zidan about ongoing parliament activities related to implementing the government’s reform plans.
