Working dinner ahead of quadrilateral meeting in Thessaloniki


 A working dinner was held ahead of the quadrilateral meeting of foreign ministers of Macedonia, Greece, Bulgaria and Albania in Thessaloniki on Friday.

The dinner was hosted by Greek FM Nikos Kotzias, also including counterparts Nikola Dimitrov of Macedonia, Ekaterina Zaharieva of Bulgaria and Ditmir Bushati of Albania.

The foreign ministers will be joined by the countries’ transport and home affairs ministers, discussing cross-border cooperation, the European perspectives of the Western Balkans, effects of Middle East developments on the region, opportunities for development of traffic infrastructure, cooperation among police services, fight against organized crime and migration.

The Macedonian and Greek FMs are set to discuss the name issue at the meeting sidelines.
