‘Trajectory’ case: ‘Bombs’ presented at Criminal Court

“Bombs” are being presented at the hearing of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO) Trajectory case, which is taking place at the Skopje-based Criminal Court on Tuesday.

Former PM Nikola Gruevski, former Vice-premier Vladimir Pesevski, former Transport Minister Mile Janakieski and former State Roads Agency director Ljupco Georgievski are at the hearing.

They are suspected of overstepping their jurisdiction by undertaking actions in 2012/2013 during the procedure for selection of a contractor for the highway sections Miladinovci-Stip and Kicevo-Ohrid, which caused damages to the national budget of over EUR 155 million.

The recorded conversations are presented in the courtroom by the prosecutor Lile Stefanovska from the SPO.

So far, the court has heard recordings of Mile Janakieski and Nikola Gruevski talking to collaborators about the process of choosing contractors and negotiating with Chinese companies.
