SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE will meet yet again to discuss the SPO on Thursday

SDSM and VMRO-DPMNE working teams will hold Thursday yet another meeting, in an attempt to reach agreement over the Law on the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the future status of the Special Prosecutor’s Office-SPO.

The meeting will take place in the Ministry of Justice on Thrusday at 6 pm.

Although remaining firm on their positions, both sides say that talks have not failed.

Prime Minister Zoran Zaev told Mickoski at yesterday’s TV duel that he would accept everything that did not imply protection of crime and in accordance with the Constitution and laws.

Mickoski said that his party had submitted to the Ministry of Justice 65 amendments after the Ministry had already accepted the principles championed by VMRO-DPMNE – justice for all, international rules and regulations and respect of human rights according to the principles of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg, the European Commission and the Venice Commission.
