Pendarovski’s inauguration in Parliament today at noon

Newly elected President Stevo Pendarovski will be inaugurated today at a session in the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, thus formally launching his five-year term.

The inauguration will also be attended by Montenegrin Foreign Minister Srdjan Darmanovic, Greek Foreign Minister Georgios Katrougalos, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Maciej Lang, Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Farouk Kaymakci and a senior official of the cabinet of the President of Slovenia Borut Pahor.

Stevo Pendarovski will be the fifth head of state since the country’s independence. Presidents elected before him were Kiro Gligorov, Boris Trajkovski, Branko Crvenkovski and Gjorge Ivanov.
