Mayoral candidate Hekuran Duka declares win in Debar

According to preliminary information, Duka won about 400 votes more than his opponent Arben Agolli, supported by the Alliance of Albanians.

Duka promised he would be the mayor of all citizens, regardless of their ethnic, religious or partisan affiliation.

“My office will be open for everyone, we are all people of Debar. I will do everything to keep my promises towards reducing the migration of young people and turning Debar into a European town,” said Duka.
