Kostadinov: Mickoski stands behind anti-NATO and anti-EU protests that call for violence

Hristijan Mickoski won’t give up hindering Macedonia’s bid to join NATO and the EU. The closer Macedonia gets to fulfilling the dream of our people, the more anxious Mickoski and the VMRO-DPMNE anti-Western leadership get, said SDSM MP Kostadin Kostadinov.

Speaking at a press conference in Parliament on Wednesday, he said that the opposition party and its leader had only one goal ‘to incite tension, hatred and violence’ as a way to block the future of Macedonia.

“Mickoski today reaffirmed that he stands behind the anti-NATO and anti-EU protests in which protesters call for violence, spread hate speech and act in a destructive manner. But, he himself knows that the anti-Western agenda in Macedonia has no support,” said Kostadinov, who is also SDSM’s spokesman.

According to him, both the citizens and the MPs are confident that the future of Macedonia lies in the EU and NATO by endorsing the Prespa Agreement.
