Jazbec: Slovenia will continue to strongly support North Macedonia during its EU integration
Slovenia will continue to strongly support North Macedonia during its EU integration through sharing experiences, knowledge, and expertise in the process, Slovenia’s Ambassador Milan Jazbec said today at the Mother Teresa University in Skopje.
“Two weeks before the meeting of the EU council,” Ambassador Jazbec said, “I have to say that Slovenia strongly supports your country, the Republic of North Macedonia, to receive the green light to start the negotiation process for the EU.
“This is one of the most important projects in front of us all, and I have no doubts that within two weeks, there will be a green light for the start of negotiations.”
Jazbec, who visited the Mother Teresa University to mark the start of the new academic year, also announced the visit of Slovenia’s Prime Minister Marjan Sharec next week.
“He will visit your country to send a strong signal to anybody in Europe,” Jazbec said, “that your country deserves the start the negotiations now more than ever.
