Head Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva is to rule by 14h on Monday on whether SPO’s prosecutors Fatime Fetai and Gavril Bubevski would be dismissed from SPO’s ‘Titanic 3’ case.

Following a motion tabled by lawyer of the defense in the case, Elenko Milanov, the trial judge said a recording of the motion would be forwarded to competent bodies in line with the law on dismissal of prosecutors.

According to prosecutor Fetai, SPO’s chief prosecutor Katica Janeva is the one competent for their dismissal.

Lawyer of the defense Elenko Milanov said the motion was put forward due to the recently developed situation in SPO which, according to him, has changed since the previous hearing, as well as due to an ongoing confrontation between Janeva and prosecutors Fetai and Bubevski.

In addition, Milanov sought for cessation of the trial proceedings until the court rules on the motion.

‘Titanic 3’ case relates to coordinator of DUI parliamentary group Ejup Aljimi and Ismet Guri, member of Municipal Elections Commission for Chair municipality, who are indicted for destroying electoral material in 2013 local elections.
