Former UBK director Mijalkov doesn’t know where Gruevski is

Former head of the Administration of Security and Counterintelligence and one of the excluded members of VMRO-DPMNE Saso Mijalkov said he didn’t know the whereabouts of his first cousin and former PM Nikola Gruevski, who has been wanted by the police since last night.

“I don’t know,” Mijalkov responded briefly to a reporter who asked where his cousin was as Mijalkov was arriving at the Criminal Court.

He is appearing for the SPO’s Titanic 2 trial, which indicts him for “receiving an award for illegal influence.”

Nikola Gruevski has been officially wanted by the police since last night. He did not turn himself in on Friday, so the authorities have been looking for him at his home and at the VMRO-DPMNE’s headquarters to arrest him and take him to serve his two-year prison sentence on charges in the Tank case.
