Dimitris Kammenos: Solution to the name dispute will not be reached

One of the vice-presidents of the Greek Parliament and MP from the Independent Greeks, Dimitris Kammenos, thinks that a solution to the name dispute will not be reached.

– I think that as it goes, there is not much room. There will be no solution. These people cannot change things that we consider necessary and should be made as a guarantee. We call (Zaev) for an international agreement, he says we will not change the language, we will not change anything, we will not change the Constitution, they only change road signs, Kammenos said in an interview with Greek television Skai.
Speaking about Greek-Turkish relations, Kammenos demanded that should Zaev publicly comment on the “Turkish provocation”.

– Mr. Zaev wants to enter Europe. He does not want to get in? He does not require different names from us? In which Europe wants to enter? Has there been any statement about the Turkish provocation? Mr. Zaev comes in and tells us “I want to join the European Union”. His country’s border will be the European Union, he will later want that to be supported by Greece and the European Union? He will need to make a statement. I say this publicly. To assess aggression in Cyprus’s exclusive economic zone and the aggressiveness of Turkey (with which it has very good relations) on the border with Greece, which is also a European frontier, the vice-president of the Greek Parliament and an Independent Greens MP said.
