Zaev: We are now one step closer to the European Union

This is one of the days when the citizens of Macedonia should be proud. Now we are one step closer to the European Union, Prime Minister Zoran Zaev announced after the publication of the EC Report.

The recommendation is clear and unconditional, the prime minister said, pointing out that this means providing a start for EU membership negotiations.

– Today we are closer to the EU and to the achievement of the economic standards of the Union, for all citizens of our country. In his report to the European Council, the EU proposed a crystal clear unconditional recommendation for the start of the negotiations of the Republic of Macedonia, Zaev said.
