Skopje Airport new sign in place (Photo)

The sign with the new name International Airport – Skopje has been placed at the airport building.

The Government renamed the airport from Alexander the Great to International Airport – Skopje as a sign of good will in relations with Greece.

The move prompted the arrival of Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Kotzias in a Greek-owned aircraft after a 12-year hiatus.
