Pendarovski: Mass turnout in the runoff means support to the NATO and EU concept

SDSM presidential candidate Stevo Pendarovski said that mass turnout in the runoff means support to the NATO and EU concept, while VMRO-DPMNE’s Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova said she continued to vie for the votes of the undecided.

“It is important to go out in masses on May 5, because what is important is the concept that the ruling authorities and myself support – NATO and EU accession. Although many generations have wanted to see the country in NATO and EU for 30 years, this generation can make this dream come true. This is the only concept that leads Macedonia into the company of developed countries,” Pendarovski told a gathering in Prilep.

Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova said the votes she received in the first round have resulted in anxiety among the ruling authorities.

“The result is a concern for them and would result in early parliamentary elections in other countries. I am continuing the search for the votes of the undecided, the people who maybe rightly distanced themselves from VMRO-DPMNE, but I can see they are coming back to help the reform process,” said candidate Siljanovska-Davkova.
