Parliament hold plenary session before summer recess


North Macedonia’s Parliament is set to hold its last plenary session before its four-week summer recess.Today’s is the 109th plenary session. Parliament summer recess ends on August 27.

During today’s session, legislators will consider a proposal to send Army of North Macedonia troops to the Resolute Support mission in Afganistan; proposed changes to the Law on Education of Preschool, Primary and Secondary School Teaching Staff, and draft amendments to the Law on the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts.

Members of Parliament are also set to vote on updates to the Law on Agricultural Land; the Law on Vehicles; the Law on Aviation; the Law on Wine, and the Law on Agriculture and Rural Development.

The MPs will also review the 2018 annual reports submitted by the Macedonian Radio Television and the Civil Aviation Agency.
