Osmani: For the sake of Macedonia, the law on languages will be passed next week

The Deputy Prime Minister does not believe that the passing of the law could negatively affect the talks with the opposition on reform laws. He believes that it would be childish if VMRO-DPMNE was angry and did not vote for reforms.

– I am convinced that if we show the same commitment and courage to pass the law, and we will bring it in the coming days, also interethnic relations will be our biggest support, the biggest encouraging force for the country to join the Euro-Atlantic structures, and then remain the last question, the name dispute.

Three days ago, the law on languages was put on the agenda, but the session was not held due to SDSM’s request to give a chance to the dialogue. The parties say there will not be a leadership meeting, but there will be talks. Speaker Talat Xhaferi has given a week’s time to agree after which the session will be scheduled, and he will act, as he says, in accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure.
