MP Aleksandar Kiracovski was summoned for questioning in relation to the “Racket” case.

Speaking to reporters after leaving the Public Prosecution for Organized Crime and Corruption in Skopje, Kiracovski said he had shared information about certain events.

“I’ve been called in regarding a small segment… I hope and I’m confident that as of now, there will be no fake news, manipulation that have, in my opinion, harmed the investigation, all the while tarnishing the reputation of innocent people. I hope facts will prevail starting now,” Kiracovski said.

Answering a journalist questions, the SDSM MP said he had never met Zoran Milevski-Kiceec and SPO’s head Katica Janeva, who are serving detention as suspects in the Racket case.

Kiracovski said he was confident that a transparent and just process would be conducted and that all the perpetrators would be brought to justice.

SDSM MP Frosina Remenski was questioned by prosecutors on Wednesday. So far, TV host Lila Filipovska and two businessmen were called in for questioning in connection to the extortion investigation.
