Macedonian-Bulgarian Joint Multidisciplinary Commission to hold its second meeting


The second meeting of the Joint Multidisciplinary Commission of Experts on Historical and Educational Issues, established in accordance with Treaty of Friendship, Good-Neighborliness and Cooperation signed between Macedonia and Bulgaria, will be held on October 4-5 in Skopje.

The expert commission is expected to exchange views related to curriculum in the education processes in the two countries as well as possibilities for joint celebration of certain historical events and personalities, Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release on Wednesday.

The first meeting of the Joint Multidisciplinary Commission of Experts on Historical and Educational Issues, was held on July 2-3 in Sofia which defined the principles and methodology for the Commissions’ work in accordance with the principles of mutual understanding and positive European experiences.

The meeting is to be held in accordance with the obligations for implementing the Treaty of Friendship, Good-Neighborliness and Cooperation.
