Kurz congratulates Macedonia on the decision to implement the Prespa Agreement


“Let me congratulate Macedonia on the historic decision to continue with the implementation of the Prespa Agreement, thus sending a signal of encouragement, not only for Macedonia, but the entire region,” said Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in the opening remarks of conference “Balkans and the EU – Five-year Cycle of the Berlin Process”, which takes place in Budva on Thursday.

Chancellor Kurz also referred to the different aspects that affect the economic and security stability in the region, saying it is boldly moving forward and becoming a credible partner of the EU. Vice Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Koco Angjusev and Economy Minister Kreshnik Bekteshi are attending the conference.
As part of the conference, members of the delegation will meet with political and business leaders from the region.
