Katica Janeva dismissed the PPO in Gevgelija as well

Council chairman Aco Kolevski said that the Special Prosecutor’s Office and the State Public Prosecutor’s Office are separate institutions, so with the decision she cannot actually perform the duties of the post of public prosecutor.

“Having determined that the decision to suspend the post of public prosecutor in the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Gevgelija, she cannot no longer actually perform the duties as Public Prosecutor,” Kolevski said.

The chairman pointed out that the decision to terminate Janeva’s post was made based on the decision of her dismissal from SPO due to unprofessional and unethical conduct.
