Ex Special Public Prosecutor Katica Janeva will give a testimony on September 24 (Tuesday) before the Head of Public Prosecutor’s Office for organised crime and corruption Vilma Ruskoska, her lawyer Irena Danailova-Frckoska said in a interview with TV Alsat’s 360 Degrees.

“Janeva was summoned again. She will give a testimony on Tuesday”, Frckoska said, answering a reporter’s question.

According to Frckoska, Janeva was expected to be dismissed from the post of special public prosecutor, but the Council of Public Prosecutors’ decision to dismiss her from the post of public prosecutor in Gevgelija is controversial.

“I think that the decision of the Council of Public Prosecutors is disputable and I suppose it will be subject to an appeal,” Frckoska said.

Asked if there is evidence of Janeva’s involvement in the Racket case, Frckoska said she was presented with selective evidence and from what she saw there is not any involvement or indication of a reasonable suspicion that Janeva had committed the crime.

Frckoska said that it would be necessary to see if these recordings could be used as evidence in the criminal proceedings since they could not be matched with those used by the Special Prosecutor’s Office  in the proceedings.
