Grubi: Final name solution to be dignified, mutually acceptable

DUI MP Artan Grubi met over dinner with United Nations envoy Matthew Nimetz in New York on Saturday, discussing the name issue and current developments.

Grubi met with Niimetz in the capacity of chair of the Parliament’s Committee for European Affairs.

“The stance of both PMs give optimism that the solution is closer than ever. Grubi and DUI believe that the final solution needs to be dignified and mutually acceptable. The compromise must enable Macedonia’s urgent NATO and EU integration, resulting in sustainable peace and stability of the country and the region. It is also a prerequisite for economic development and the country’s well-being,” the Committee said in a press.release.

DUI fully supports the efforts invested by envoy Nimetz and the countries’ representatives in the talks.
