Abdilaqim Ademi passes away

Former vice premier and minister Abdilaqim Ademi passed away at the age of 48 on Thursday.

Ademi, a member of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), was vice premier for the Ohrid Framework Agreement implementation, minister of environment and physical planning, and minister of education and science between 2008-2016.

He graduated at the Polytechnic University of Tirana and later advanced his education in Germany.

Ademi leaves behind a wife and a son.
