The State Election Commission (SEC) told Tuesday that 383 domestic and 286 foreign observers will monitor the September 30 referendum.
As regards to domestic observers, Civil – Centre for Freedom has accredited 282 observers, followed by National Roma Centre Kumanovo – 46, NGO Inkluziva – 40, MOST Citizens Association – 12 and EDULSJ Association will have 3 observers.
Regarding foreign observers, OSCE/ODIHR has accredited 188 observers, US Embassy-35 observers and OSCE Mission to Skopje 12 observers.
Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe has accredited 8 observers, British Embassy-9 observers, French Embassy-6 observers, Albanian Embassy-6 observers, Hungarian Embassy-6 observers, Turkish Embassy-4 observers, Kosovo Embassy-4 observers, International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES)-3 observers and Committee for Open Democracy-3 observers and NGO The Earth Saviours Foundation-2 observers.
Forty-seven foreign journalists are accredited to monitor the referendum.
The deadline for application for election observers expired on Monday midnight.
