Erol Musliu appointed new Intelligence Agency director


Erol Musliu was appointed as new director of the Intelligence Agency by President Stevo Pendarovski, said the President’s Office in a press release.

Musliu had worked in the Security and Counter-Intelligence Directorate, followed by a post in the Intelligence Agency.

In the coming days, President Pendarovski will also appoint members to the national Security Council.

The Security Council is composed of the country’s president, parliament speaker, prime minister, ministers in charge of state administration bodies in the area of security, defense and foreign affairs, as well as three members appointed by the country’s president.
