Prime Minister Zoran Zaev met Friday with the new Russian Ambassador to Macedonia Sergey Bazdnikin, wishing him success in advancing the relations between the two countries.
Zaev voiced belief that Bazdnikin, as his predecessor, would successfully work on the development of the bilateral relations, the government said in a press release.
The meeting focused on possibilities for boosting the economic cooperation, especially in the spheres of energy, agriculture and food-processing.
Zaev and Bazdnikin expressed satisfaction with the excellent cultural cooperation – the strong bond between the two countries, the press release reads.
Bazdnikin said he would do his best for advancing the relations, overall cooperation between the two countries.
