PM Rama comments on meeting held with Greek counterpart Tsipras in Dubrovnik


Albanian PM, Edi Rama held a meeting with his Greek counterpart, Tsipras during the 16+1 summit between countries of Southeast Europe and China taking place in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

The Albanian government released a statement a few minutes ago, but without offering any details about the results of the meeting:

“The meeting between the Albanian PM and his Greek counterpart focused on the EU integration reforms that Albania has launched and the strengthening of political and economic relations between the two countries”.

The statement released by the Albanian government also says that “Prime Minister Edi Rama valued Athens’ stance on the future of Albania in the EU and the role that the Greek PM is playing in the opening of accession talks between Albania and EU”.
