Kotzias meets Pacolli in Pristina

Greek Foreign minister, Nikos Kotzias, has held a meeting in Pristina today with his counterpart from Kosovo, Behgjet Pacolli.

In contrast to the other visits held as part of the Balkan tour, the Greek diplomat did not deliver a joint press conference following the meeting with Pacolli.

“We have a lot to talk and to do”, Kotzias declared briefly. He said nothing about Kosovo’s recognition and the opening of the diplomatic office in Athens.

It seems as if the relations between the two countries will continue to focus on the domain of economy.

Kotzias arrived to Kosovo after his visits to Serbia and Macedonia.

During his visit to Belgrade, Kotzias said that his country will not recognize Kosovo’s independence, while explaining that the commercial office of Kosovo in Athens will not act as a diplomatic center.

So far, Greece has recognized Kosovo’s passports and has had an economic partnership with the country. /ibna/
