Thaci at the Berlin Summit: There’s no dialogue without US presence

Kosovo’s President Hashim Thaci declared today that there will be no dialogue or negotiations without the presence of the United States of America. This declaration comes a few hours before the start of the Berlin Summit hosted by German chancellor Angela Merkel and French president Emmanuel Macron.

According to Kosovo’s president, “Kosovo is an independent country and that there can be no negotiations without the presence of the US”.

Meanwhile, PM Ramush Haradinaj denied the existence of a draft of conclusions.

“We have no draft or document ready and we have not agreed on anything. What’s important is that Kosovo maintains its position”, Haradinaj said.
