Kosovo: PM Haradinaj demands cooperation with the Serbian List


In Kosovo, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj has called on the Serbian community to work with Pristina in order to address different issues and in order for the arrest and expulsion from Kosovo of the Serb official, Marko Djuric, not to be misused.

In yesterday’s government meeting, deputy Prime Minister, Dalibor Jevtic, who has been appointed from the ranks of the Serbian List, called for Monday’s events which caused a tense situation between Kosovo and Serbia, to be investigated.

He also said that the Serbian List and its MPs will not return in the Parliament of Kosovo until the country’s authorities form the Association of Serbian Communes.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj has expressed his commitment to sit down and talk to the representatives of the Serbian List on all their concerns, including the issue of the formation of the Association of Serbian Communes.

Once again, he has said that the Association of Serbian Communes should be formed in compliance with the laws and Constitution of Kosovo.

The unilateral formation of the Association of Serbian Communes has been set as an ultimatum by the representatives of the Serbian community, if the government of Kosovo does not form this structure until 20 April.

Meanwhile, IBNA news agency learns that the head of the Office for Kosovo in the Serb government, Marko Djuric will return to Kosovo on 20 April to participate in the meeting of the MPs and mayors of the Serbian communes in the north, where the Association of Serbian Communes is expected to be formed.
