Catholics celebrate Easter Sunday

Catholic Christians Sunday celebrate Easter – the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On this occasion the Bishop of Skopje and Apostolic Exarch of Macedonia Kiro Stojanov in Saturday’s holy mass delivered Easter message in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Cathedral in Skopje.

Bishop of Skopje and Apostolic Exarch of Macedonia Kiro Stojanov extended Easter message to all Catholic believers saying that Christ’s resurrection rises above the event of history as such and opens the door to a new history in which we only anticipate the greatness of the new man in God’s plan.

Holy mass was attended by President Gjorge Ivanov, his wife Maja Ivanova, Deputy PM and Interior Minister Oliver Spasovski, Minister without portfolio in charge of Diaspora Edmond Ademi, Minister without portfolio in charge of Regulations for Improvement of the Investment Climate for Domestic Companies Zoran Sapuric and Director of the Commission for Relations with Religious Communities and Religious Groups Darijan Sotirovski.
