What has Mickoski decided

The deadline of Hristijan Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE has long since expired. Whatever they decide, they will hardly justify the astonishing indecisiveness and party calculus for the most significant determination since the independence of Macedonia. A historical act about the European affiliation of Macedonia for which they should not have thought about for even a day.

It is already quite certain that the parliament will not send a joint proclamation to all the people’s representatives to the citizens of Macedonia to go to the referendum and to vote for European Macedonia.

Such a proclamation, which would have remained in the history, had to be crafted with adequate content exemplified by the size of the most significant event in the history of independent Macedonia. Addressing this way to citizens with a note that they determine the future remains engraved in the collective memory of both present and future generations.
Such a fundamental document, which reflects the determination of the vast majority of citizens, regardless of their national and religious affiliation, has to be adopted unanimously by all Members of Parliament and accepted by all relevant political parties and political leaders. It would have been a real move that would show the statehood of both politicians and citizens.

For great misfortune, the battles for power, lies, manipulations and conspiracy theories that were placed by party officials and learned people made divisions that Macedonia prevented from raising them to the level of the leaders of the Ilinden Uprising and the founders of the Krusevo Republic with the Proclamation that teach our children and grandchildren in the first grade of primary school.

Instead of the manifestation of unity and togetherness for the significance of the historical act, quarrels, hatred and campaigns for the boycott of their own future and the isolation of Macedonia are still ongoing.
The biggest blame for this is borne by President Gjorge Ivanov and the leader of the main opposition party, Hristijan Mickoski. The President will be remembered in the history and memory of the citizens as a person run over by time, who, with his fundamentally wrong and harmful decisions, participated in the interference of Macedonia in its Euro-Atlantic integrations and membership in the EU and NATO. But also for his attempts to hinder justice and pardon politicians accused of serious crimes.
Opposition leader entered a calculative adventure under the pressure of his predecessor, Nikola Gruevski, omitting the opportunity to immediately decide the most categorical for realizing the most important state and party strategic interests of Macedonia and VMRO-DPMNE, EU and NATO membership. Hiding behind the agreement with Greece, which is clearly clear to everyone that a compromise and a precondition for the Europeanization of Macedonia is a disease, is a readily legible one, as it is easy to recognize the truth that such or a better agreement is not possible.
The terrible mistakes of President Ivanov and the leader of VMRO-DPMNE, Mickoski, placed them in the dump of history along with that “handful of pitiful people” that agitated a mockery and a boycott of the referendum, equating it with the preparation of ajvar. An unprecedented shame, a bigger embarrassment has not been noted in the recent history of Macedonia, and, honestly, there have been plenty.

Waiting for the indecisive Hristijan Mickoski after several days of reflection on the way in which the party would take, it became clear to everyone that it would be a sloppy, urgent appeal to supporters to vote for, against, or boycotting in their own way, which ultimately becomes irrelevant. Anyway, VMRO-DPMNE and Mickoski chose to play a marginal role in the Macedonian Euro-integration. It will be an announcement for the poor future of both the party and Mickoski, who spent an extraordinary chance to modernize the anachronistic and criminogenic VMRO-DPMNE as a puppet of his predecessor and mentor who has the biggest responsibility that Macedonia does not fulfill its strategic interests at the latest together with Croatia.

Mickoski had the chance and still has it – to propose to the Parliament a joint proclamation to the citizens to turn out massively in a referendum on European Macedonia. Too bad. Such a shame that he did not do it immediately, and as it seems, it will happen without him and without VMRO-DPMNE. It is what Mickoski was told by world statesmen and all public opinion polls in the past few days.

What do you think – whether Mickoski and VMRO-DPMNE’s top have enough political sense, wisdom and courage to correct themselves and to accept the efforts of the majority of citizens and the world political elite, our most important political and economic partners, our key supporters, to resist of internal party pressures and to be on the historic side.

Mickoski missed this chance with this unnecessary long consideration about the final position, and at the same time he was performing a strong agitation against the Agreement. Such dual role is not accepted even by the most obedient members of the party.
