Tevdovski meets Dutch Finance Minister Hoekstra


On the sidelines of the World Bank-IMF Constituency in Croatia, Macedonia’s Finance Minister Dragan Tevdovski had a meeting with his Dutch counterpart Wopke Hoekstra, also attended by World Bank CEO Frank Hemskirk.

Tevdovski extended gratitude for the Dutch support of Macedonia’s public finance sector and briefed his colleague about the ongoing implementation of reforms in this sphere.

The two ministers also underlined the importance of transparency in public finances, with Tevdovski saying that it is one of the main priorities of the government of Macedonia, the Ministry of Finance said in a press release on Saturday.

The meeting also tackled the Memorandum of Cooperation 2017-2019, signed between the two ministries in August 2017. The document sets a framework for bilateral cooperation through exchange of experiences, trainingsand consultations on public finances, the press release reads.
